Everything was perfectly fine from the excellent service to the savoury food. The room we booked was nicely updated and new-fashioned with a fantastic view. Location: the hotel was just off the Ocean Crest as well as the beach and sand. What's more, it was 10 mins drive from Sunset Beach.

pleasant stay with a few drawbacks
The restaurant experience stood out . The food was really good, beneficially improved with the attentive service from my server, Kyle.
The one-bedroom suite lacked some basic amenities that I expected for the price.

The views from our room were just lovely. We could watch the sunset over the ocean every evening, it was nice. The kids loved the pool across the street, and the sauna helped me unwind after a long day.

We loved walking down to the beach and enjoying the picturesque views from our room. The outdoor space was well-kept, and the restaurant served delicious food. Make sure to book a dinner reservation early to avoid waiting!
The Wi-Fi was a hassle. We struggled to connect, and it kept dropping. This was pretty inconvenient .

The location is fine with amazing views of the ocean. I loved the modern room, especially its cozy bedding and effective heating. The restaurant serves delicious meals, particularly the curry shrimp. The dessert was amazing too! I appreciated the attentive staff and their warm service. The washing machine didn't function properly, and it took time for staff to respond when I reported it. It also would've been nice to have more kitchen amenities in the room, like a microwave. While the hotel touches could use refreshing, the beauty of the surroundings makes up for it.

Fine ocean views were the highlight of the stay, particularly the lovely sunsets. The room was clean and well-maintained, a relief given the older buildings. The restaurant was a letdown, with limited menu options and underwhelming quality, quite disappointing despite the lovely setting. Access to the beach was a bit inconvenient, with a long stairway rather than a direct path.

Had a wonderful time with my partner enjoying the fireplace in our cozy room and the stunning ocean sounds at night. There’s a great fire pit for evenings, and we loved walking down the cute stairway to the beach. Our only bummer was the Wi-Fi being a bit spotty, but overall, it was a great getaway! 🌊
